How and why do we exist? We exist because of God, and we exist for him.
Colossians 1:16 states “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him”.
All things were created by God. God created the first man (Adam) and put him in a garden to work. From Adam, God created the first woman named Eve to be Adam’s companion. All the needs for Adam and Eve were provided by God. God allowed them to eat from every tree in the garden except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; God told Adam that he would die if he eats from the forbidden tree. Despite God’s instruction, Adam and Eve succumbed to temptation and disobeyed God, they ate from the forbidden tree. Adam and Eve’s disobedience was a transgression (sin) against God, and the consequences for their actions was banishment from the Garden of Eden, curse, and death.
Adam’s disobedience introduced sin and death to flesh. Men are born into sinful flesh, but God gives grace by blessing the faithful, those who are obedient and believe in him. The bible provides stories of God blessing the faithful and punishing the disobedient or abandoning them.
God made a promise to bless Abraham and his descendants because by faith Abraham obeyed God. Genesis 12:3 states ” “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
God made a covenant with Moses, a descendant of Abraham, and to the Jewish people. God gave the Jewish people his commandments and told them “If you obey me and keep my covenant, you will be my special possession, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation”. Abraham and Moses were blessed by God because of their faithfulness to him. Those who obey God’s commandments receive blessings.
Men are born from the desires of sinful flesh, and we need to be cleansed from our sins to be saved. To save us from death, God sent us his son in form of man to spread his word and to be a clean sacrifice as atonement for our sins. Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit (The Word of God) and the Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ was not born of the desires of the flesh like other men. Jesus Christ, the son of God, died for the sins of the world as a clean sacrifice (a man without sin). Jesus Christ was obedient to God to the point of death, he died once for our sins so that we would be saved from death. Since one man’s (Adam) disobedience introduced death, one man’s (Jesus Christ) obedience gave man a chance for eternal life.
The sacrifice of Jesus gives man a chance to save their souls from destruction and receive eternal life. Flesh dies and can’t inherit the kingdom of heaven; however, our souls as Christians won’t be destroyed because through Jesus Christ we receive eternal life and a spiritual body. The gift of salvation is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was put to death and God resurrected him. After the resurrection and before ascending to heaven, Jesus Christ told his disciples to spread the word of God and he will send them a helper (Holy Ghost). The Holy Ghost was sent to help believers. Men who are found to be righteous will be justified by their faith in God through his son Jesus Christ, and those men are children of God.
The Father is God, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost (The Spirit of Christ Jesus). They are one!
Supporting Scripture:
Genesis 2:15-25 KJV states “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed..”

1 Corinthians 15:45-55 KJV
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
