Christian marriage

Christians should have a loving marriage out of being obedience to God.

The Bible teaches that a man should love his wife, a man should protect and care for his wife, he should honor his wife, love his wife as himself, and satisfy her sexual urges.

A woman should honor her husband and treat him with respect as the head of the household. A woman should submit to her husband, care for her husband, and satisfy his sexual urges.

A man and women become one flesh in marriage. There should be no adultery in their marriage. A Christian husband and wife should submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Obeying God’s commandment is love of God.

Not all women make a good wife, and vice versa, not all men make good husbands. A Christian should not marry an unbeliever (i.e., a person who lives sinfully), but if you’re already married to an unbeliever and they are pleased to be with you, don’t leave the unbelieving spouse. If the unbeliever wants to leave you, let them leave, and the bible states that a Christian is not under bondage in such cases, but God hath called us to peace. 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 KJV
[1] Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [2] Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. [3] Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. [4] The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. [5] Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Ephesians 5:33 KJV

[33] Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV
[14] Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? [15] And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. [17] Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, [18] And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
